The Characteristics of Phrasal Verbs in Marine Engineering English

Abstract


Owing to the technical feature of marine engineering English (MEE), phrasal verbs which appear in MEE have special lexical, syntactic and semantic features. This paper aims at finding these characteristics of phrasal verbs in marine engineering English.Key words:  marine engineering English; phrasal verbs; characteristics
